If you were strip searched at the Salem County Correctional Facility between April 6, 2015, and December 1, 2020, you may be eligible for a cash payment. Qualifying Over-ID Class Members can receive $75, and Qualifying Group Strip-Search Class Members can receive $300.

What proof means here: In filling out the Claim Form, you will affirm, under penalty of perjury, that you were strip searched in accordance with the practices and policies at the Salem County Correctional Facility of conducting strip searches. If your name is not contained in the County of Salem’s records, you may be asked to provide additional documentation before being allowed to participate in the settlement.
